UP ART

UP ART™ Manifesto

"We weren't born to repeat."
"We were born to elevate."

The UP ART™ Movement emerges as a call to
awareness in the present moment. Not as a school.
not formal or an aesthetic trend, but as an attitude.
Before the world. Under the direction of JC Bergamo and
Christy, the movement was born in the Art Gallery of
Cazah as a core group of artists who understand
The act of creating as an exercise in presence.

We live in a fragmented time, a time of identities.
multiple technologies that accelerate the world
while challenging our inner selves. In this scenario,
Art cannot be a distraction; it needs to be...
consciousness and transformative energy.
UP ART believes that contemporary art is
A testimony of the present.

It is active reflection.
That's a sensitive question.

UP is direction and ascension, a state of presence, it is
Expansion of perception. We do not seek uniformity.
We seek truth. We don't defend a particular style.
We defend a position.

UP ART™ is upward because it proposes elevation.
not of status, but of perception. To raise one's gaze, the
thought and exhibition space in the field of
conscience.

We believe in art as a historical responsibility and
memory of the present.

We don't just want to occupy walls.
We want to open windows.
We don't just want to exhibit works.
We want to provoke reflection.
We don't just want to belong to our time.
We want to understand it.

UP is movement.
UP is awareness.
UP is now.

This is our starting point.
This is our commitment.
This is our manifesto.

UP is movement. UP is awareness.

UP is now.

ART MOVEMENT
AND CURATORSHIP

CURATORIAL GAZE

We opened a window.
Not for the past, not for the future, but for the moment that pulsates before us. “A Window to the Now” marks the first group exhibition at the Cazah Art Gallery and officially inaugurates the UP ART™ Movement, conceived and founded under the direction of

JC Bergamo and Cristina Bergamo (aka Christy).

The movement was born as a gesture of raising artistic awareness in the present time.

Contemporary art does not seek to repeat forms, nor merely break with traditions. It bears witness. It questions. It transcends. We live in an era of information overload and profound transformations.

The “now” is multiple, hybrid, and urgent. Each work presented in this exhibition is a unique window. Each artist chooses their framing; each gesture reveals a slice of the time we inhabit. If classical art aspired to eternity and modern art proclaimed rupture, the UP ART™ movement affirms consciousness.

He embraces the complexity of the present and transforms anxieties into language. The impulse is clear: to raise the gaze, expand perception, and create connection.

UP not as a trend. UP as a state of presence. UP as a movement of perceptible ascension.

This exhibition also marks the beginning of the Gallery's Collection. The works gathered here are the founding core of a collection that grows under the sign of the present. Choosing what to show through a window is an act of courage.

May these windows allow us to see the world and ourselves more clearly, in the exact moment we are living in.”
